Meet Snotes Ambassador Jarrett

Enjoying the first year of his college career, Jarrett is planning on earning his PhD in Aerospace Engineering, as well as being actively employed in the field, by age 25. We’re pretty sure this intelligent and engaging young man has exactly what it takes to do so. He has certainly impressed the Snotes Team with his talent. Not only does Jarrett look good on paper, but he is a great person as well!

Jarrett describes himself as, “Silly most of all! I would also say fun-loving and happy.” Though he enjoys a good joke, he has a serious side as well. He very much admires his past physics instructor for teaching him how to think critically. His favorite subject by far is engineering, “It’s always hands on and can be applied to a lot of different subjects.”

Last year, Jarrett was captain of the Timberland Swim and Dive Team. He feels that in this team he found some amazing friends, that it was also a great experience and he truly misses the team and their activities. Jarrett also enjoys music and is self-taught in guitar. A few years ago he decided to learn to play without formal lessons, and did so! In the days since he has collected nine different guitars

When asked about favorites he says; his favorite color is orange, his favorite actor is Will Smith, due to his humor and acting abilities, and his favorite book series is Percy Jackson and Olympians by Rick Riordan. That said, right now one is more apt to find a copy of “A Molecular Approach to Chemistry” on his nightstand.

Jarrett continues to enjoy life and the many new challenges that college is bringing his way. Even with his busy schedule he has found to time to be a part of Snotes and appreciates being a Snotes Ambassador, “I am excited to be part of something new and innovative.” When asked what he thinks about Snotes, he describes them as “a new twist on social media,” and adds, “The applications for it are endless.”
